Mae Mazzola Ferguson, the creator + owner of Studio Zola opened her doors in 2017 in Troy, Michigan. Mae officially started in the industry in 2007 when attending Paul Mitchell The School - Michigan. Mae has always been surrounded by all things beauty while growing up third generation in her family in the industry. Since cosmetology school Mae has worked in a Barberhouse, Salons, done platform work while educating, and offered years of free lance work. Before choosing the path of a Hair + Makeup Artist, Mae attended college for a general arts degree with a journalism focus. Always interested in creating, exploring, + connecting with others, her path led to the Studio Zola. And a new dream came to life...
